3. Insert a formatted high-density oppy disk to the oppy disk drive.
4. Follow screen instructions to complete the process.
5. After creating a RAID driver disk, eject the oppy disk, then
write-protect it to prevent computer virus infection.

To create a RAID driver disk in Red Hat
®
Enterprise Linux / SUSE Linux
Enterprise server environment:
1. Insert a blank formatted high-density oppy disk to the oppy disk
drive.
2. Decompress the le into the oppy disk from the following path in the
support CD:
•
For NVIDIA™ nForce SATA RAID Driver:
\Drivers\nVIDIA MCP55\makedisk\
•
For LSI 1068 SAS RAID RAID Driver:
\Drivers\LSI 1068\Driver\makedisk\
3. Eject the oppy disk.
For systems with other Linux versions that are not listed in the Makedisk
menu, explore the support CD and copy the driver le from the following
path:
For NVIDIA™ nForce SATA RAID Driver:\Drivers\nVIDIA MCP55\Linux\.
For LSI 1068 SAS RAID Driver:\Drivers\LSI 1068\Linux\.
